Does Red Tavern accept reservations?
Yes- reservations are accepted. Our wine and spirits bar is also available for dining, however, we do not take reservations for seats in the bar. Bar seating is on a first come first served basis.

Does Red Tavern have a corkage fee?
Yes- a corkage fee of $15.00 per 750ml applies.

What is Red Tavern's dress code?
An official dress code is not enforced at Red Tavern. Dress tends to be upscale casual.

Can I bring a birthday cake?
Yes- you are welcome to bring a dessert for a special occasion, however, be advised that a $2.50 charge per person will apply. (Think of this as a "dessert corkage fee.")

How do I arrange a large party at Red Tavern?
Red Tavern can accomodate your special event. For parties of 14 or less, call and make a reservation with our staff. For parties of 15 or more please contact the General Manager Maria Venturino (530) 894-3463

Can I purchase a gift certificate?
Yes- Red Tavern is happy to offer certificates for your gift giving needs. Please contact the restaurant by phone to arrange for a gift certificate, or purchase one on your next evening with us.

Can I get a recipe for a dish I have enjoyed at Red Tavern?
Yes- please contact us with your requests at eat@redtavern.com with "recipes" listed in the subject line of your e-mail. A selection of the most frequently Requested Recipes or cooking techniques.

Does Red Tavern have special events?
Yes- occasionaly Red Tavern offers price fixed, multi course dinners. These dinners can range from wine release parties, farm dinners, regional wine dinners, or dinners to celebrate a certain season. Special Events will be posted on this website as soon as they are scheduled.

Directions

Northbound-

Take Hwy99 North to Chico, exiting at East 1st Avenue. Turn left and follow East 1st Avenue to the Esplanade. turn right and continue for one block. Red Tavern is located between 2nd and 3rd Avenues on the Esplanade. Some frontage road parking may be found and more parking in the rear of the building may be accessed through alleys off of 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

Southbound-

Take Hwy99 South to Chico, exiting at East 1st Avenue. Turn right and follow East 1st Avenue to the Esplanade. turn right and continue for one block. Red Tavern is located between 2nd and 3rd Avenues on the Esplanade. Some frontage road parking may be found and more parking in the rear of the building may be accessed through alleys off of 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

From I-5 North-

Take the second Orland exit turning right and continuing through Orland and Hamilton city on Hwy32. Follow Hwy32 for approximatly 25 miles until you reach 8th Avenue. Turn left and continue to Esplanade. Turn right and continue for 5 blocks to 3rd Avenue. Red Tavern is located between 2nd and 3rd Avenues on the Esplanade. Some frontage road parking may be found and more parking in the rear of the building may be accessed through alleys off of 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

From I-5 South-

Take the first Orland exit turning left and continuing through Orland and Hamilton city on Hwy32. Follow Hwy32 for approximatly 25 miles until you reach 8th Avenue.
