We are very proud to bring our customers wines from all over the world. We start in our own backyard, wineries just a short drive from Chico. Almendra, Gale, Doe Mill, Nesserre, and Strawhouse are all examples of the local wineries we support. We proceed to Napa, Sonoma, Paso, Amador County and other areas and appellations of California and Oregon where delicious wines are produced. We try to balance our wine list with big names we all love. Equally important, we like to bring in wines from small boutique wineries where we can meet with the owners and the winemakers, tour the grounds, touch the vines and taste the wines. Often these wines are only produced at around two hundred cases a year, which can amount to less than an acre of grape vines. We finish off our list by bringing wines in from the old world including areas such as Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Tuscany, Rioja, and Duoro. We find it exciting to compare and contrast the styles of these countries with the wines we produce here in the States. We are proud to have received an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine for our efforts. Cheers!
